We wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

2021 has brought huge and persisting challenges across our regions, not limited to a global pandemic, floods, cyclones and civil unrest. 

Yet, the resilience, perseverance and commitment to positive change shown by communities continues to awe and drive us. 

Reflecting on the year, we’ve achieved a lot with our partners and we are hugely grateful to work with diverse, skilled, and passionate people every day (that’s you). 

We’ve also been focusing on better defining our values and goals, and this has only further highlighted the importance of genuine partnerships in achieving our mission to do good, better. 

In short, we couldn’t do what we do without you - thank you.

Looking forward, we’re feeling positive about 2022.

We have seen a growing interest in our human-centred, iterative, locally-embedded ways of working.

Our expanding local teams in Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Fiji, Cook Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and Australia are a testament to the potential of this design thinking approach which is gaining greater recognition in the development community.

But for now, we’re taking two weeks off to rest, recharge and reset. We hope you enjoy some time with family and friends too.
